1.5 million EVs on Malaysian Road By 2040

The Government has set a new target of having 1.5 million electric vehicles (EVs) on the road by 2040, according to Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change, Tuan Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad. This ambitious target represents a significant increase compared to the previous target of 90,000 EVs set by the Planning and Implementation Committee for Electricity Supply and Tariff (JPPPET) for the same year.
