End to nuclear power era in Germany

Germany is set to shut down the last three remaining nuclear power plants in the country, marking the end of nuclear power use in Germany by April 15, 2023. The three nuclear power plants, namely Emsland in Lower Saxony, Isar 2 in Bavaria, and Neckarwestheim 2 in Baden-Württemberg, will be decommissioned and dismantled in accordance with the Atomic Energy Act.
