MyRER – NAVIGATING THE FUTURE OF RE

The long-awaited Malaysia Renewable Energy Roadmap (MyRER) was made public in December last year. It was a highly anticipated roadmap by the local RE industry players as the MyRER sets the future direction of renewable (RE) in the peninsula, Sabah, and Sarawak. MyRER puts into motion efforts to drive further Malaysia’s RE generation to 4,466 megawatts (MW) to 12,916 MW by 2025 compared with 8,450 MW in 2020.
