TNB CONTINUES TO LEAD THE ENERGY TRANSITION WITH COMMUNITY SUPPORT & A JAPANESE CONGLOMERATE GIANT

Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB)’s efforts in leading the implementation of the energy transition effectively have gained continuous support from the public and commercial communities, including international companies as they switch to renewable energy (RE), namely solar.To date, TNB’s wholly-owned subsidiary, GSPARX Sdn Bhd (GSPARX) has successfully signed 1,926 rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) installation agreements at residential houses, public and commercial buildings throughout the Peninsula Malaysia with a total capacity of 271.9 megawatts (MW).TNB President and Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Indera Ir. Baharin Din described the achievement as very encouraging because TNB has succeeded in raising public awareness about clean energy
